Index Words:  women, rakes, wagon, ox, horse, dog
Place:  Germany
Notes:  ^^^ Given the style, I had originally dated this work as nineteenth century, but later discovered a very similar image from 1916. The Great War may explain the relatively high number of women workers. Other similar paintings by the same artist, with Munchen under the signature, led me to change the place from Austria to Germany. Note the unusual pairing of horse and ox under the same yoke.
